Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the LensSports website, dashboard, mobile experiences, and companion experiences on compatible smart display glasses (together, the “Services”), operated by RootVaultAI LLC (“LensSports,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

• You must be able to form a binding contract, or have a parent/guardian or authorized organization accept these Terms on behalf of a minor athlete.
• Coaches and organizations are responsible for obtaining any required consents from athletes and, for minors, their parents or guardians before capturing sessions.
• You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your credentials secure.

LensSports is a coaching and athletic development tool for use in practice and training. It helps coaches capture sessions, organize observations, and give clearer feedback. AI features generate private draft notes that a coach reviews and approves. LensSports is not a medical, diagnostic, or officiating tool, and it does not replace professional judgment.

LensSports is built to develop athletes—never to gain an unfair edge in live competition. You agree to use the Services consistent with our Fair Play safeguards.

• Do not use LensSports to gain a competitive advantage during live, sanctioned competition. Coaching automatically pauses at recognized competition venues and when Competition Mode is enabled.
• Do not capture anyone without the consent required by these Terms and applicable law.
• Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Services.
• Do not use the Services to harass, demean, or endanger any athlete.

• Your content. Coaches, athletes, and organizations retain ownership of the session media and notes they create. You grant LensSports a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the Services.
• Our platform. The LensSports software, design, brand, and underlying technology are owned by RootVaultAI LLC and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any ownership of them.
• AI drafts. AI-generated notes are drafts for coach review. Coaches are responsible for the content they approve and share.

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle information—including the heightened protections for young athletes. Recording occurs only during active, consented sessions.

LensSports may offer early-access or beta features. These are provided “as is,” may change or be discontinued, and may contain limitations. We appreciate your feedback as we improve.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RootVaultAI LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or to protect athletes and the integrity of the platform. Certain provisions survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

We may update these Terms as LensSports evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
