Privacy Policy

LensSports (“LensSports,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a coach-led athletic development platform operated by RootVaultAI LLC, an Arizona limited liability company. This Privacy Policy applies to our website, web dashboard, mobile experiences, and companion experiences on compatible smart display glasses (together, the “Services”).

We collect only what we need to deliver coaching and keep athletes safe:

• Account information — name, email, role (coach, athlete, parent/guardian, or organization), and sign-in credentials.
• Coaching session media — video and/or audio a coach captures during a practice session, including footage recorded through compatible smart display glasses.
• Performance and progress data — coach observations, AI-generated draft notes, skill progress, and session history.
• Consent records — the Fair Play agreement and capture consents accepted before a session, stored as a dated record.
• Location signals — approximate location used only to detect competition venues and pause coaching during live competition (our Fair Play safeguards).
• Device and usage data — basic technical information (device type, app version, log data) used to keep the Services secure and reliable.

• To deliver coaching—capturing sessions, organizing observations, and helping coaches give clear, timely feedback.
• To generate private AI draft notes that a coach reviews, edits, approves, and chooses whether to share. AI output is never sent to an athlete or family automatically.
• To track progress over time so athletes and coaches can see real development.
• To enforce Fair Play safeguards, including pausing coaching during live competition.
• To keep the Services secure, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

LensSports uses AI to help organize and summarize what a coach captures. Every AI-generated insight is a private draft until a coach reviews it, edits it if needed, approves it, and selects who may see it. No AI output reaches an athlete, guardian, or third party without that explicit coach action. The coach is always the final authority.

Many athletes on LensSports are minors, and we treat their information with heightened care. Where an athlete is a minor, a parent or guardian (or an authorized coaching organization acting with guardian permission) must provide consent before sessions are captured.

• We collect the minimum information necessary to support coaching.
• Session media of minors is treated as sensitive and access is restricted to the athlete’s coach, the athlete, and their parent/guardian as appropriate.
• Parents and guardians may request access to, or deletion of, their child’s information at any time.
• We do not use minors’ data for advertising, and we never train AI models on it.

We comply with applicable children’s privacy laws, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) where it applies.

When a coach captures a session using compatible smart display glasses, recording happens only during an active, consented coaching session—not continuously. Capture is gated behind the Fair Play consent step, and visual recording indicators are respected. Location signals are used solely to enforce competition-aware pausing, not to track individuals.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only in these limited cases:

• Within a coaching relationship — between an athlete, their coach, and (for minors) their parent/guardian or organization.
• Service providers — trusted vendors who host, secure, or process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations.
• Legal & safety — when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of athletes and others.
• Business transfers — if RootVaultAI LLC is involved in a merger or acquisition, information may transfer under the protections of this policy.

We protect information using encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and least-privilege practices. Session media is retained only as long as needed for coaching and progress tracking, or as required by law, and is then deleted or de-identified. You can request deletion at any time.

• Access the information we hold about you or your child.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Delete your account and associated session media.
• Withdraw consent for future capture at any time.
• Object to or restrict certain processing where the law provides that right.
